Rushion’s Kitchen Apple Turnovers – Makes 16

Ingredients
3 Cups of Duncan Hines Apple Pie Filling
2 tablespoons Non-Dairy Country Crock Plant butter
1 cup Domino light brown sugar
1 teaspoon McCormick ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon Argo cornstarch
2 package Pepperidge Farms 2 Sheets Puff Pastry sheets
Icing
1 cup of Domino confectioner’s sugar
2 tablespoons of oat milk
1/2 teaspoon McCormick vanilla extract
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
Step 2
In a bowl mix melted oat butter, apples, brown sugar and cinnamon and stir slowly, then mix with cornstarch until sauce has thickened.
Step 3
Unfold puff pastry sheets. Trim each sheet into a square. Then cut each larger square into 4 smaller squares equal. Spoon apples onto the center of each square. Fold over from corner to corner into a triangle shape, and press edges together to seal.
Step 4
Spray flat sheet with flour Pam Spray. Place turnovers on a baking sheet, leaving about 1 inch between them.
Step 5
Bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until turnovers are puffed and lightly browned. Cool completely before glazing on wire rack.
Step 6
Icing/Glaze - To make the glaze, mix together the confectioners' sugar, oat milk and vanilla in a small bowl.
Step 7
Drizzle glaze over the cooled turnovers on wire rack.
